Improve Urinary Tract Function with Cranberry, Saw Palmetto, Pygeum Africanum, and Beta-Sitosterol

Cranberries are rich in vitamins and antioxidants. They have historically been used in medicine to reduce the risk of urinary tract infections. In addition to possibly reducing inflammation, they aid in reducing bacterial adhesion to the urinary tract lining. When bacteria cannot stick to the urinary tract, they are flushed out in urine. Saw palmetto can reduce prostate enlargement and enhance urinary function. Non-cancerous prostate enlargement, known as benign prostatic hyperplasia, has the potential to obstruct urine flow. It can be more challenging to initiate and sustain urine flow when the prostate is enlarged because it presses on the urethra. Typical symptoms include a need to urinate frequently and urgently, but the urine stream may be weak, resulting in incomplete bladder emptying. Pygeum is a herbal extract made from the bark of the African cherry tree. Pygeum may help reduce lower urinary tract symptoms secondary to an enlarged prostate gland. Beta-sitosterol is a plant phytosterol that is also used to treat lower urinary tract symptoms from an enlarged prostate.

Improve Prostate Health with Zinc and Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 and zinc may support prostate health. The prostate gland contains significant amounts of zinc. Zinc aids in preventing damage to DNA, the genetic material within the cell, particularly damage brought on by aging.

Improve Testosterone Levels with Shilajit and Eurycoma longifolia

Himalayan rocks contain a substance called shalajit that results from the slow decomposition of plants. The Ayurvedic treatment for many illnesses, purified shilajit, has been shown to raise testosterone levels. In one study, testosterone rose by 23.5%. Shilajit may also improve energy, lessen inflammation, prevent oxidative stress, and increase sperm production.

The Malaysian ginseng plant, Eurycoma longifolia root, also raises testosterone levels.
